Business Partnership expands into corporate sector

NATIONWIDE business broker Business Partnership, which has offices across the West Midlands, has expanded into the corporate market.

One of the largest independent companies in the sector, Business Partnership works by putting business sellers in touch with business buyers.

Business Partnership Corporate, which has a separate identity from the main company, said it had launched the new operation to meet a demand from SMEs with a turnover of £5m.

It said it would be looking to recruit new staff in the coming months as the expansion progressed.

Business Partnership Director John Hatt, who is responsible for the Birmingham South, Wolverhampton and West Midlands areas, said: “This is a natural step as the company has enjoyed considerable growth over the past two years.

“From our experience, the range of people both buying and selling businesses is incredibly varied. They include young entrepreneurs leaving college or university full of great ideas, people who want to become their own boss after taking redundancy and older people with shrinking pension pots who would like to pass something on to their children.”
