Solihull office deals show ‘strength of demand’

Topland has secured two big deals for space at its recently refurbished office scheme in Solihull.

Outsourcing group Instant has taken 21,000 sq ft of space on a five-year lease at 31 Homer Road on behalf of a major client, taking part of the ground and entire first floor.

IT service provider, CGI has taken a five-year lease on 16,038 sq ft of space on the second floor.

Instant is a managed office solution provider to 75% of the FTSE 100, while CGI is a global IT and business process outsourcing company relocating from Trinity Park near Birmingham Airport.

The deals were agreed by joint agents Cushman & Wakefield and GVA on behalf of Topland Group.

The 66,364 sq ft building, which is located in the centre of Solihull town centre has undergone a major refurbishment and existing occupiers include Sales-i and Birmingham Property Group. There is now 7,000 sq ft of office space remaining, along with some additional basement space suitable for lab or tech use.

William Davies, director at Topland, said: “These deals prove the strength of demand for quality office space in Solihull town centre. There is a strong occupier base in the area and we have worked closely with the tenants and their advisors to ensure tight occupational timetables were met.”
