Sandhu said: “Birmingham is quickly evolving to play an even greater role in the UK’s economy and international reputation. With the move of many large organisations to the city and the connectivity that HS2 will deliver in future, many businesses are looking to explore the second city.

“Our expansion into the city confirms our commitment to help businesses and individuals across the UK with their matters and we hope our international expertise proves useful to the diverse range of businesses in Birmingham and the surrounding area.”

Nigel Rowley, managing partner at Mackrell.Solicitors, said: “Guvvy is extremely highly regarded in the local business community and the launch of this department will help to extend our influence across the country.

“We have launched this office in response to a growing demand from our client base, who want an office that can be easily accessed, but that provides the same high level of service and expertise that they have come to expect. We are very excited about this latest development in our firm’s long history and we can’t wait to engage with local communities.”
