Grant Thornton in city centre office move
FINANCIAL services firm Grant Thornton is to relocate its Birmingham offices to a new location in the city.
The firm is reported to be moving next summer from its existing offices in Edmund Street to a new base at Colmore Plaza.
The accountancy practice has taken a 15-year lease on the whole of the 12th floor of the building, which is owned by the Carlyle Group, and a further 4,000 sq ft on the 11th floor.
The move is expected to happen in June and will also see the firm expand its tax team.
