New occupier for former tissue factory

THE FORMER British Tissue Factory in Tankersley, near Barnsley, has been let.

Distinction Doors has taken the 42,403 sq ft refurbished warehouse unit, which has been renamed Wentworth 36, at Wentworth Park Estate.

The premises, which had been vacant for four years, has been let on a five year lease on behalf of property developer Mountcity Group by DTZ.

Paul Mack, associate director at DTZ, said: “As soon as this property was brought to the market, we received an extremely high level of interest and with Distinction Doors in occupation we now have just over 40,000 sq ft remaining.

“We anticipate that this property will be fully occupied shortly into the new year, as the remaining space provides great value for money having been fully refurbished and benefits from a large secure yard with separate access, excellent loading capabilities and sprinkler system in place.”
