Growing IT group launches modern new headquarters

IT services and solutions business, pure technology group, (PTG) has expanded into a new hybrid workplace in Leeds, investing £1.1m to create the facility in Holly Park Mills.

The project titled ‘#one roof’ creates a landmark HQ – bringing together teams and functions from both Reseller and MSP parts of the organisation.

It will accommodate PTG’s existing 140 personnel and add scale for future growth aspirations to a capacity of more than 250 people.

Facilities provided on site include a gym, auditorium, social spaces, technical workshops, collaboration zones, work cafes and a bar.

The new site has undergone an extensive design, build and fit-out programme over 12 weeks, co-managed with office design and build partner Dale Office Interiors.

Sustainability has been a consideration in the design with existing furniture re-purposed and refinished alongside new furniture manufactured using recycled materials from plastic litter retrieved from waterways.

PTG will host an exclusive 3-day launch event for customers and partners in September, covering key updates from leading technology brands.

The #oneroof project follows recent news of PTG’s acquisition by Fulcrum BV – the European division of a global technology company, focused on a pan-European strategy to deliver long-term growth in the IT sector.

Stephen O’Brien, PTG’s CEO, said: “A successful organisation doesn’t happen without great people. Today’s talent is looking for much more than wages.

“Flexible working, both in terms of location and time spent in office, is increasingly varied for good reason.

“Providing employees with a flexible approach to work-life balance helps them to work effectively, giving us better results for our organisation.”

Simeon Banks, head of innovation at the company, added: “Despite the challenges of the pandemic over the past 18 months, PTG decided to be bold and invest.

“This is a testament to the ambition and drive of PTG and its values; hard work, teamwork, and fighting spirit. I’m certain we’ll fill our 250 people capacity full of great talent in no time.

“For the first time, everyone from our Leeds and Wakefield offices will be together under One Roof, creating an even brighter, more vibrant culture.”
