Client demand prompts surge in recruitment at agency

Leeds-based integrated agency, HUB, has appointed 11 new staff as the it prepares to embark on its “biggest year yet.”

Following the appointment of Rob Shaw as CEO last November, HUB has made these new appointments across the business.

It follows a significant increase in client work and coincides with the launch of a new brand for 2023 and beyond.

Ben Jones has joined as account director, with Chantelle Letsie and Andrew Rae taking up roles as senior digital account manager and digital account manager respectively.

Content is in the hands of paid social media manager Carrie Barrett, designer Daniel Georgiev, and content executive Beth Gordon.

Thomas Howell is HUB’s new senior data scientist, Luke Atkinson has joined as marketing analyst, and Megan Thornton is the agency’s new office and finance administrator.

HUB has also welcomed a new photographer to its in-house studios in the form of Linzi McKenzie. To spearhead the agency’s rebrand, HUB has recruited Abbie Harrop as its internal marketing manager.

Between them, HUB’s new hires have worked with several well-known brands including Adidas, Reebok, Kellogg’s, Smirnoff, Pimm’s, SharkNinja, Dune and Peacocks.

Shaw, formerly CEO of Epiphany, Jaywing and Creative Race, said: “We have ambitious plans for the years ahead and 2023 has started well for HUB with significant growth from existing clients as well as new clients joining us across a number of our departments.

“Attracting high quality talent will be fundamental to our growth and I’m really pleased with the calibre and experience of our new starters which will complement the existing experienced team here at HUB.”
