The Range set to open new 40,000 sq ft store in Nottingham

Home, leisure and garden retailer The Range is set to move into a 40,000 sq ft unit in Nottingham.

The company will move onto Castle Retail Park after Savills brokered a deal on behalf of the Triton Property Fund managed by UBS Global Asset Management.

The Range has agreed a new 20-year lease for the store, which features additional garden centre space at the rear, and will pay a rent of £10 per sq ft (£108 per sq m).

Castle Retail Park offers 111,983 sq ft (10,403 sq m) of retail warehouse floor space across 11 units, which are let to brands including B&M, Maplin, Poundland and Aldi.

Johnny Rowland, out of town retail director at Savills, said: “We are pleased to have secured a deal with The Range at Castle Retail Park. This major national retailer will complement the park’s existing line up very well.”
