Agent hits the right note with period building letting

Savills, on behalf of a private landlord, has completed the letting of Labes House, 4 Waterway Street, Nottingham, to Nottingham Music Service, which has agreed a new 10-year lease.

Labes House is a three-storey 5,815 sq ft period building configured to provide two studio recording rooms and workshop/warehouse on the ground floor.

Victor Ktori, head of the commercial agency team in Nottingham, said: “We’re delighted to complete this letting to Nottingham Music Service who will continue to use this unique space as a creative hub for their students.”

Ian Burton, chief executive officer of Nottingham Music Service, added: “We are extremely excited to be moving into Labes House as a city centre base for Nottingham Music Service and our wonderful groups of young city musicians such as the Robin Hood Youth Orchestra.

“It is particularly inspiring to be moving in to the building where internationally renowned artist Wolfgang Buttress had his design studios and we aim to continue this creative vibe to inspire the next generation of young people in Nottingham.”
