How do you relax at the weekend?
With two young children, relaxation isn’t always easy. However, time with family and friends is always time well spent.
How many hours do you work at the weekend on average?
Not many and as few as possible, but at times weekend working is necessary to keep things ticking along particularly when dealing with the sale and purchase of companies. Sometimes the peace and quiet of an empty office can help focus the mind for drafting the necessary documents.
What’s your favourite:
– Holiday destination? I love Tuscany but New England, especially Cape Cod, get my vote.
– Book? Recently I have thoroughly enjoyed the Passage trilogy but I love reading and don’t think I could pinpoint one particular book as an all-time favourite.
– Album? The Boatman’s Call by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. I’m a sucker for a melody.
– Food? Generally, big and hearty Italian meals, but sometimes only a curry will do.
– TV programme? I really enjoy the programmes which Brian Cox does; they are informative and beautifully shot. As a guilty pleasure… First Dates!
– Website or app? The BBC app is one which I go to daily.
How do you usually spend your Sunday evening?
Normally cooking a family meal, followed by a bit of telly. Nothing too taxing!
