Nottingham businesses get appy with local deals

Snizl

MORE than 100 Nottingham businesses have been the first to sign up to a new digital platform designed to provide local people with competitions, deals, promotions and events from local businesses.

Residents in Nottingham are the first in the country to access real-time competitions and money-saving deals from  local shops, bars and restaurants, using digital platform Snizl.

Push notifications are delivered straight to their device, but only from the businesses they have chosen to hear from.

Companies taking part include The Pudding Pantry, Neon Wolf Studio, ALT Gaming Lounge and Weavers Independent Wines and Spirit Merchants.

Philip Trease, managing director of Weavers Independent Wines and Spirit Merchants, said: “The ability to let our loyal customers know about what we are up to in real-time is fantastic. We’re able to promote anything from our newest arrivals to what we have on tasting that day. Snizl really brings the customer together with our website and shop. We have loved being able to promote our independent offering while engaging with our followers on Snizl.”

Chris Hill, chief executive of Snizl, said: “Nottingham is the perfect place to launch Snizl. We want to celebrate the passion shown by local people for retailers, bars and restaurants in the city by rewarding them with the best competitions, deals and events that they have to offer.

“Before Snizl, there was nothing on the market for local people to get access to real-time deals directly from independent businesses around them.”
