Traffic alert: M1 now open in Northamptonshire

The M1 in Northamptonshire northbound between J16 (Northampton) and J18 (Rugby) is now fully open following an earlier closure.

The carriageway was closed for Northamptonshire Police investigation work which is now complete, says Highways England.

The road had been closed from around 3am this morning after a body was found on the northbound section of the motorway.
