Gleeds completes on £250m Trent Basin

Local property and construction consultancy, Gleeds, has recently completed work as cost manager on Phase 1 of Blueprint’s £250m residential development, Trent Basin.

Located on a former industrial site to the east of Nottingham city centre on the banks of the River Trent, the waterside neighbourhood is made up of contemporary, low-energy houses and apartments. Phase 1 comprised a total of 45 homes, including 10 waterside apartments, all of which incorporate high quality insulation and are constructed to strict airtightness standards, performing up to 30% better than building regulation requirements.

Some 50% of the properties from the initial phase have now been reserved and designs for Phase 2 are in the advanced stages of planning.

The completion of the first stage of this sustainable development at Trent Basin not only promotes low-energy living, but also provides a stylish new community whilst embracing Nottingham’s industrial heritage.
