Pick Everard names new civil engineering boss

Leicester- and Nottingham-based Pick Everard has appointed a new national director of civil engineering.

The management, design and construction consultancy has appointed Mike Cullington after a career of 28 years with the firm.

“I’m proud to have been promoted to national director and I am looking forward to contributing to Pick Everard’s 2020 vision. I will be playing a key role in developing strategies in the civil engineering discipline and ensuring that our service delivery is as efficient as possible for our clients.

“My career highlights so far have included playing a key role as civil engineering consultants for design and project management at Grove Park Commercial Centre in Leicester. It has been a £15m project and we have had 20 years of repeat business with the client. This has been very satisfying for me personally.

“I have also worked for Cannon Kirk (UK), for the last 15 years leading the Pick Everard highways and infrastructure team providing design support for adoptable roads and drainage systems and transportation services for their new housing developments.”
