Orange Tree Group set to relaunch Loughborough restaurant and bar

The Orange Tree group is set to open its newest bar in Loughborough next month (April).

Fenways Burgers, Smokehouse and Bar will take inspiration from some of London’s most popular street food concepts, and launches on the back of the successful pop up restaurant ‘The Smokehouse’ in Leicester.

Located on Baxter Gate, Fenways has undergone a major refurbishment and will include a restaurant, bar and live music venue to the area.

Andy Darch, the previous general manager at The Kelso in Loughborough, will take over.

He said: “Fenways brings together the best of popular eating, drinking & social trends. For the first time, in Loughborough, you can choose from a large selection of smoked meats & burgers, then match your meal with an array of craft beers, wines, cocktails or shakes.

“With warm and comfortable indoor and outdoor dining and drinking areas, you can spend hours relaxing and checking out the funky décor and little touches that make the place so special.”

Ben Hings, director of the Orange Tree Group, said: ““Over the years we have noticed the changes in how consumers wish to spend their leisure time. Loughborough has been influenced by these changes with the new Baxter Gate development and we feel that Fenways will tick all the right boxes and give the Loughborough market exactly what is currently missing: great quality smokehouse food, served in a casual environment and backed by superb friendly service. We are very much looking forward to opening our doors and giving Loughborough something a bit different from the usual branded chains.”
