Law firm Freeths has another year of growth, with annual fee income growing by more than 12.5% to £72m.

On the back of the performance, Freeths’ management board says all staff will be rewarded with a bonus payment in May.

Across the East Midlands, all three offices have seen growth. Nottingham is Freeths’ largest office, with over 320 staff and billing £22.6m, Leicester has seen staff numbers increase by 18% and Derby has acquired a number of new clients.

Freeths has 11 offices across the UK and has seen staff numbers increase from 683 in 2015 to a current total of 784.

Chris Freeston, who was appointed as managing partner of the Nottingham office last year, said: “Our continued growth both locally and nationally, is testament to the hard work of our staff. It has been a busy year of growth across the firm and we work hard as a team to deliver the results our clients want, whilst ensuring that our staff have the opportunity to develop and progress within the business.

“We are also fortunate in being able to invest time and resource to the local community and charity initiatives. We look forward to competing in the Corporate Games this summer in Nottingham and have a number of staff taking part in a sky dive in aid of Alzheimer’s UK in May.”
