Clowes gets go ahead for Derby city centre upgrade

Plans by Clowes Developments to upgrade the frontage of the shops at Royal Buildings, in Victoria Street, Derby have been approved by Derby City Council.

The revamp will bring the facades inline with the original look of the building.

Royal Buildings has been a Grade II-listed property for over 40 years.

The Council has said that the proposed works would “enhance the character and appearance of these Grade II-listed buildings and the wider setting of the City Centre Conservation area.”
