Construction firm completes first stage of £8m Chilwell care home

Nottingham-based residential care home builders Wynbrook has completed the first phase of construction works at the £8m Chetwynd House Care Home in Chilwell.

Built on behalf of Adept Care Homes based in Hinckley, the name Chetwynd House has been chosen because ‘Chetwynd’ was the name of the shortly to be closed army regiment barracks nearby.

Chetwynd House is the second new care home that Wynbrook has built for Adept Care Homes over the last two years. Wynbrook recently completed Kiwi House in Derby and having consistently demonstrated its expertise and build quality Wynbrook was appointed to design and build this latest new 70 bed care home.

Adept Care Homes currently owns eight care homes located across the Midlands.

Once completed the £8m Chetwynd House will provide residents with a care home experience that will feature amenities such as a shop, café, pub and cinema. The new care home has been designed to ensure residents can maintain their independence and each living room will be fitted with kitchenettes and the gardens have been professionally landscaped to provide tranquil recreational areas.
