Former pub to be turned into homes

A former public house in the village of Redmile, Nottinghamshire, is to be converted to create four new homes.

The Peacock Inn at Church Corner is being developed after planning permission was granted by Melton Borough District Council.

Developer WTF Projects is also building two new detached dwellings on the pub’s adjacent car park.

WTF Projects was advised on the purchase of the Peacock Inn by Langleys Solicitors.

A spokesman for the company said: “Our development will provide six contemporary two, three and four bedroom homes in the centre of Redmile. We plan to start building work in August with the first properties completed for sale by spring next year.”
