Derby water industry specialist reveals turnover boost

Stonbury, the Derby-based specialist contractors to the water industry, has posted an impressive hike in turnover for the year-ending 30 June 2017.
Stonbury recorded 43% growth in turnover to £24m, building on growth of 33% in 2016.
The firm specialises field repairing, maintaining and refurbishing drinking water service reservoirs and towers.
Stonbury completed a number of new build schemes during the year, including their first new service reservoir near Burton-upon-Trent, for South Staffordshire Water.
James Stonor, chief executive, said: “Our fantastic growth came from a clear focus on first class customer service. During the year, we added three new frameworks to our already impressive roster of multi-year framework contracts that cover almost all of the water companies in England and Wales.”
