M1 lanes closed as crash brings hour-long delays

There are currently delays of over one hour on the M1 southbound between J17 – J16 due to a collision.

Highways England says lanes 2 and 3 (of 3) are currently closed and emergency services are on scene.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time for their journey.
