Plans revealed to add more beds and facilities to huge student scheme

A huge Nottingham student accommodation could get even bigger after developer submitted plans to add more rooms and facilities.

A revised planning application has been submitted for the internal layout of The Vantage, near Nottingham railway station, that will see the scheme extended by 12 beds to 485. A cycle park is also set to be extended to house 288 bikes, while a gym has also been added to the plans.

The Vantage will be built and operated by Future Generation and will be 172,000 sq ft. An Autumn start date has been mooted.

If passed, The Vantage will be built on land currently hosting a Plumb Centre on Traffic Street and Waterway Street.
