Long delays on M1 after collision

The M1 currently has delays of at least 45 minutes from J29A to J30, covering several miles of the northbound carriageway.

Highways England says the delays are due to a road traffic collision with all lanes blocked.

A statement said: “For traffic approaching the delays locally, you are advised to expect disruption with extra journey time and you may wish to re-route or delay your journey.”
