Logistics firm expands again with 27,000 sq ft warehouse

Fast-growing transport firm Silver X Logistics look set to create more jobs after taking another 27,000 sq ft of space.

In a deal brokered by FHP Property Consultants, Silver X have signed up for the warehouse unit just off the A38 at Junction 28 of the M1.

The news comes 18 months after the firm said it was creating up to 30 jobs by adding 30,000 sq ft of space to its ecommerce fulfilment site in Codnor.

Tim Gilbertson of FHP said: “When asked to market the space, as always I immediately approached a most likely party to take the building and was therefore able to quickly show them round, agree terms and instruct solicitors without the need for boards, marketing or any additional cost being incurred on behalf of clients.

“It is always particularly satisfying to conclude a deal in this way as it is our market knowledge which is key and enables us to fill space where others can sometimes struggle.”
