A HR software specialist has big expansion plans, as it invests £10m at its head office and creates 30 jobs.

Nottingham-based MHR has enjoyed a strong first half of the year and has launched a recruitment drive which will take its total workforce to 700 people.

The company is expanding its Britannia House site at Ruddington Fields Business Park, where it is also building a four-storey car park to accommodate its growing team.

MHR Chairman and founder John Mills said it “feels great to know that our continued success is creating new jobs for the East Midlands”.

“Despite expanding internationally in the past couple of years with new offices in Ireland, the US and Singapore, we’re extremely proud of our Nottinghamshire roots,” he said.

“Our strong performance and sustained growth is testament to how we consistently reinvest 20% of our annual profit into research and development to ensure our software and services continue to meet the demands of the modern workplace, helping organisations of all sizes improve the way they manage their people and streamline their internal processes by embracing new digital ways of working.”

MHR has added 66 customers in 2019, including crop protection and agronomy firm Agrovista UK, foam converter and specialist mattress and bed manufacturer Breasley Pillows and construction company Prater.

It has deployed its iTrent software at 75 customers, including furniture retailer DFS and Nottingham Trent University.
