B&M Installations turn up the heat for Hot Property

With just three months to go until the hottest event of the year, we had the chance to sit down with Nottingham Hot Property (NHP) seasoned pro Leah Stead (nee McSherry), business development manager at B&M Installations, to talk about why the firm chose to become sponsors and what it’s like to get up on stage.

How many years have you been attending Hot Property?

The B&M team and I have been attending NHP for a few years now, it’s been great fun supporting colleagues and friends who have been performing over the years.
NHP is a great cause to be involved in as the event always supports wonderful charities that do brilliant work for the local community. It is always a fantastic night and we love to show our support for the event.

What are you most looking forward to about NHP 2019?

I will be performing again this year! The feeling you get on stage is a feeling like no other, and it is always a pleasure to represent the B&M team – not forgetting cheering on all the other performers!

What do you think to the theme this year – ‘Throwback’?

We all agree it’s a great theme; it covers a variety of genres so there will be something for everyone to enjoy!

Have you ever had anything to do with the chosen charity for this year – Marcellus Baz?

I have seen some of the work Marcellus Baz does for the young community and it’s brilliant, so we’re all thrilled we can offer our support to such a worthy cause. Hot Property raises money for great local charities year after year and we’re excited to be apart of it yet again.

Is anyone from B&M performing this year?

As mentioned, I’ll be braving the stage again for the third year of performing. I’ll be challenging myself with the throwback classic ‘I Think We’re Alone Now’ by Tiffany. Now I can’t wait for the official rehearsals to start in September!

Alongside B&M Installations the sponsors for this year’s event include Couch Perry Wilkes, CPMG, Faithful + Gould, Fraser Brown, Pulse Consult, Samclo Construction, Savills and Shakespeare Martineau. Joining these are Invest in Nottingham, the event’s media partner The Business Desk, PR agency Cartwright Communications, design agency Blimey Creative and design and print agency Ginger Root.
