Alfreton manufacturer in US expansion

An Alfreton-based design and manufacturing company has agreed a new strategic partnership which will see it expand into the US.

Transvac Systems, which specialises in ejector technology, has struck a deal with Statiflo Corp, the US arm of Cheshire-based Statiflo, which designs and distributes ozone gas dispersion systems, static mixers and other process equipment.

The agreement will see Statiflo sell Transvac’s products in the municipal water treatment sector across the United States.

Transvac, which was founded by chairman David Redgate and employs 53 staff, turns over more than £7 million a year.

Sales manager Craig Favill said: “We’re very excited to build on our existing relationship with Statiflo to expand our technical offering in the municipal water market in the US.

“The partnership will focus on the introduction of our technology for a number of key applications in water treatment.

“It is an excellent opportunity to expand the business and we are confident it will prove a successful venture.”

The partnership will be officially launched at the WEFTEC 2019 water quality exhibition in Chicago next week.
