A Nottingham-based car technology company has agreed a multi-season partnership with the Nottingham Panthers.

Road Angel’s partnership with the ice hockey team will see the dash-cam and speed monitoring specialists support the club with helmet stickers and rink-side board advertising.

The firm will also sponsor action replays on the club’s new giant jumbotron – the biggest in the country.

Steve Digva, CEO at Road Angel, said: “Everyone knows Panthers are in the front line when it comes to sports promotion with an ever-growing army of fans and they are part of a great family sport that we wanted to get behind and support. They’ve put together a great video for us for the big screens but we’re also really proud to be supporting their players in terms of safety by kitting out the pool cars with our latest devices. Basically, we’ve got each other covered from every angle.”

A Panthers club spokeswoman added: “We’re at the forefront of the sport, we’re at the forefront of the replay action with our new multi-faceted huge screens and now we’re partnered by another state-of-the-art operation in Road Angel.

“Our cars will be kitted out to make life on the roads a lot safer for the players as well. It’s win-win from every direction.”
