On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Nelsons has appointed a new associate to strengthen its commercial property team in Nottingham.

Kieron Crowther specialises in land acquisition and disposal, commercial developments and commercial renewable energy and development work.

He brings over 15 years’ experience to the law firm.

He said: “Nelsons’ commercial property team seemed the perfect fit for me. The department has established an excellent reputation for delivering high quality commercial property services and continues to expand as part of its strategy for growth. The firm as a whole is also well-known for its strong corporate and commercial departments, which I’m looking forward to working with.

“One of my top priorities is to work with clients to find commercial and practical solutions while providing the best possible service. I am very much looking forward to working with the team to grow the existing client base and help them continue to progress and expand.”

Elsewhere in Nottingham, integrated communications provider Adare SEC has appointed a new chief digital and information officer.

Andrew Herd has joined the firm’s executive team. He will focus on building secure systems that enable effective integrated communications and solutions.

Herd previously worked as chief information officer at Computershare Loan Services, a mortgage services administration provider. He also held a key role at UK Asset Resolution,  the holding company set up by the government to administer Bradford Bingley and Northern Rock.

He said: “It is an exciting time to join Adare SEC. The company is rapidly transforming and further enhancing its range of digital services to enable clients to provide their customers with integrated communications which deliver excellent customer experiences.

“The business has a clear and sustainable growth strategy. I am looking forward to playing my part in making it happen by evolving our technology capability and developing products and services that help our clients navigate an increasingly complex customer engagement challenge.”

Adare SEC’s clients include Allianz, Santander and the RSPB. The company has a turnover of £69.7 million and employs 440 people.
