The East Midlands Leadership Awards in pictures

Over 150 professionals joined TheBusinessDesk.com last Wednesday 6 November for the inaugural East Midlands Leadership Awards.
Those in attendance saw the chief executive of Nottinghamshire YMCA walk away with the top prize at the glittering ceremony, which celebrated the cream of East Midlands business leadership.
The event at Nottingham’s Crowne Plaza was sponsored by ICAEW, Barclays, MHA Macintyre Hudson and Distinct Recruitment.
Overall winner and Public & Third Sector Leader winner Will Wakefield of Nottinghamshire YMCA (centre) with Alex Turner and Sam Metcalf of TheBusinessDesk.com
Sam Metcalf, Midlands editor at TheBusinessDesk.com, said: “Firstly, congratulations to Will and all our winners.
“Our judges had such a tough job picking the winners, that we created an extra category – the Judges’ Commendation Award, to split the victor in one particular category. But every single person shortlisted today should be very proud of their leadership skills – congratulations to you all.
“I’d like to extend a special thanks to our judges who gave up substantial amounts of their time to help with picking today’s shortlist and winners – and, of course, our sponsors without whom this event wouldn’t have happened.”
