On the move: the latest East Midlands hires
Erskine Murray, the Leicester-headquartered insurance brokers, has appointed a new risk management executive.
David Plowman AIIRSM will lead the firm’s newly created risk management function.
Plowman has amassed more than 25 years’ experience in the insurance industry and has specialised in risk management for over 18 years.
He said: “I am pleased to have joined Erskine Murray as the lead on their risk management service. For change to become successfully embedded within an organisation, any risk management initiatives must be completely aligned to each client’s needs and this ethos is entirely reflected in Erskine Murray’s approach to client service.”

Elsewhere, Banner Jones Wealth Management has bolstered its team with the appointment of a new financial planner.
Simon Dickinson and Jillian Thomas
Simon Dickinson DipPFS joins the Derbyshire and South Yorkshire-based firm having accrued over 20 years’ experience with some of the UK’s top financial institutions.
He said: “The great thing about solicitors and wealth managers working together is that we can offer a seamless service to our clients.
“It was this approach that attracted me to the business, and I’m delighted to become part of the growing team.”
