A Nottingham immigration law firm says it wants to expand after a successful first year in business.

OTB Legal was set up in April 2019 by founding directors Mark Lilley-Tams, Sally McEwen and Aldijana Hoad. Already the firm is ranking in the top 10 of over 2,000 UK solicitors and says it has a 100% success rate for clients, helping hundreds of clients with all aspects of immigration, from assisting national businesses to employ international staff, supporting multi-national companies relocating to the UK and reuniting clients with loved ones.

Co-founder at OTB Legal, Aldijana Hoad, believes their success is down to their alternative approach and use of technology to reach a wider audience.

She said: “We know that immigration law can be challenging, with issues such as language barriers, busy workloads and misused jargon to changes in the law itself. So, when we set up OTB, our aim was to find simple solutions for our clients when they are in the midst of complex situations.”

Hoad added it has been a very busy few months and they are looking forward to growing the business even further in 2020.

“Brexit has been, and still is, a concern for many of our clients so we will be on hand over the coming months to help businesses and individuals discover what this could mean for them. We aim to build on the great feedback we are already getting from those we work with and continue to grow the OTB brand and reputation.”

Talking about the her plans for the future of the business, she said: “Our aim for the next 12 months is to expand our team to satisfy the growing demand from clients that our disruptor approach to providing legal advice is generating. There is a real appetite amongst individuals and businesses alike for services which are genuinely accommodating to clients’ needs and allow them to consume services in a modern technology-led way.

“We will also be focusing on the corporate immigration market to help companies navigate their way through the complex post-Brexit world of immigration rules and will shortly be launching a service which specifically supports businesses employing international staff to thrive and prosper.”
