Director to leave nmcn after more than 40 years’ service
A longstanding director at Nottinghamshire-based construction engineering group nmcn is to step down after spending over 40 years with the company.
Stuart Proud will officially retire on 16 May.
Proud joined the Sutton-in-Ashfield-based business in 1977 as a civil site engineer, progressing through the ranks to become executive director of operations in 2005.
Since 2009 he has successfully overseen NMCNomenca, the company’s water and built environment division.
He became a member of the nmcn Board in 2013.
Proud will continue to direct nmcn’s water business until his retirement, but has stepped down from the Board with immediate effect.
