Welding products distributor snapped up by investment firm

Weld UK, the Derbyshire-based e-commerce distributor of industrial, consumer and DIY welding products and consumables, has been snapped up by engineering and industrial services investment company Belgrave & Powell.

The Tamworth investor has acquired 100 per cent of the shares of Weld UK, which was established in 2003 and has since grown continuously to become a leading online distributor.

Belgrave & Powell has also brought in a new manager, Claire Dawson, to develop its newly acquired platform.

We have ambitious plans to develop our online activities which will be rolled out over the next 18 months.
