Food lovers in Lincoln will be licking their lips at the news that a new Portuguese, American and English restaurant is set to open in the city.

Eight local jobs will be created when the Serafina Grill opens its doors.

Banks Long & Co recently leased premises in Lincoln’s lower High Street to owner Rashal Hassan, who is looking to bring something new to Lincoln’s dining scene.

The property was previously a Chinese takeaway.

Hassan, who has 30 years of experience in the restaurant and fast food industry, said: “Having lived here for over three decades, Lincoln is very close to my heart and the ideal location in which to launch my business. I am creating a mix of eight part and full-time jobs and we are looking forward to offering people a range of healthy foods from our kitchen.

“We will be serving fresh food straight from the grill, and our menu is inspired by Portuguese, American and English cuisine. We have a great range of Piri-Piri dishes, gourmet burgers, ribs and delicious vegetarian menu.

“People will be able to order fresh food to deliver and collect and we also have 12 seats, so people can pop in and sit down to eat.”

Hassan says the Serafina Grill could be the first of “several” restaurants he opens in the city.

James Lockwood at Banks Long & Co said: “We are delighted to have leased premises in this part of Lincoln to Rashal and we wish him the very best for the future with his new enterprise.”
