200 Degrees reopens third venue

A third 200 Degrees Coffee outlet has reopened following lockdown.

The firm’s venue at Flying Horse Walk in Nottingham city centre follows its Carrington Street and Lincoln outlets in reopening for takeaways.

Co-founder of 200 Degrees, Rob Darby, said: “We are so pleased to be reopening our popular Flying Horse Walk shop, our first ever 200 Degrees premises, for takeaway service! We’d like to thank everyone for their continued support of 200 Degrees during these unprecedented times.

“We are looking forward to welcoming back our loyal customers and seeing new faces who are looking to grab a cup of our well-loved coffee, as well as other hot and cold beverages and cakes to enjoy on the go. The decision to reopen the Flying Horse Walk shop was due to the fact that it is close to our Meadow Lane roast house HQ and has a strong takeaway trade normally. It’s in a good position for people right in the heart of the city centre to safely grab a coffee on their lunchbreak or whilst out walking through the city.

“In the last few weeks, we have reopened our Nottingham Carrington Street shop which serves customers going via the station or strolling along the canal, and we also opened our Lincoln shop and our Birmingham Colmore Row shop in the heart of the city’s commercial district yesterday.

“The safety of our customers and team is always our main priority and due to the current situation, we have taken all the necessary steps to ensure government safety guidance is strictly adhered to. We see these gradual shop reopenings as a positive first step towards reintroducing our offering to the public, and will be looking at opening further shops and growing our food and drink takeaway options in due course.”

Both the Flying Horse Walk and Carrington Street shops are teaming up with Nottingham-based company Doughnotts this week, and from Wednesday 27 May until Saturday 30 May, takeaway doughnuts will be available alongside 200 Degrees’ offering of hot drinks and pre-wrapped cakes.
