Cool move for metalworking firm as it snaps up former Fox’s Glacier Mints factory

Metalworking firm ADS Laser Cutting has bought the former Fox’s Glacier Mints building in Leicester.

Reports from Business Live say the firm, which turns over £7m a year, will consolidate its two existing sites in the 87,000 sq ft building.

ADS’s co-founder Duncan Keates said: “The new site requires quite a bit of reconfiguration and further investment in new equipment, but we are hoping to relocate during Spring 2021.

“We will continue to serve existing customers and gain new customers throughout the UK and are certain the relocation will not affect our production.

“We have stayed open during the pandemic by creating a Covid safe environment for customers and staff.

“This is another step along the way towards meeting our growth ambitions and we are excited about welcoming customers here in the future and creating a new environment for our staff.”
