Over 200 jobs at risk as offsite giant calls in administrators

Newark offsite giant Caledonian Modular has fallen into administration, with some 20 people already made redundant, according to reports.
Trade title Construction Enquirer says that Caledonian’s administrators were called in to take over the day-to-day running of the firm last week.
The company’s website is currently unavailable.
Caledonian was a major player in the modular market and had won places on several chunky frameworks.
In early 2019, it won two major school contracts.
The company’s latest available accounts show that the firm employed 222 people and made a loss of £2.8m on revenues of £45.3m.
