Architect promotes trio to director
A Nottingham architecture practice has added a trio of directors.
Marchini Curran Associates – which is based in Nottingham’s Lace Market – has appointed Kevin Smith, Justin Ziegler and Andrew Bull as directors, placing them alongside company founders Nick Marchini and Des Curran.
The trio has a combined 35 years’ service at Marchini Curran and have all previously served as part of its leadership team for a number of years before moving into the director role.
The appointments come as the practice celebrates 20 years since opening its doors in 2002.
Curra said: “We’re delighted to add Kevin, Justin and Andrew to our board of directors. They are all long-serving members of the team and have already added enormously to what we offer, with their industry knowledge and experience across all of our core areas.

Ziegler said: “Having been at Marchini Curran for the past ten years, I’ve seen first-hand how the practice has grown and how the range of skills across the team has developed.

Bull added: “As one of the longest-serving members of the team, it’s been great to see the company expand and develop into new and exciting sectors. Our proven track record in the data centres, retail, leisure, cinemas and urban regeneration speaks for itself. Expanding the team of directors is key in developing the roadmap for the future of the practice.”
