Van Elle piles on revenue as rail division builds up head of steam
Van Elle, the Nottinghamshire ground engineering firm, says its full-year revenue and profit will be ahead of expectation after “elevated demand” for its core products.
The firm says turnover for period to the end of April will be around £125m – up from £84.4m last year, while profits will be “slightly ahead” of the top end of the range of market expectations.
Van Elle says there has been an increase in activity in its rail division, while volumes across housing, specialist piling and general piling have “remained consistent”.
The company said in a statement: “The board is pleased with progress made in the second half of FY22. The trading momentum has continued into FY23 while future prospects in its growth markets remain encouraging.”
Van Elle expects to announce its full-year results on Wednesday 3 August.
