Nelsons has added a new associate and solicitor to its dispute resolution team in Leicester.

Lesley Harrison, who joins the law firm from Duncan & Toplis, specialises in inheritance and property disputes. She qualified as a solicitor in 2021.

She said: “I’m incredibly excited to have joined Nelsons – a firm with an excellent reputation for its dispute resolution work as well as being known as a great place to work. Everyone has been so friendly and welcoming, with a lunchtime social on my first day that gave me the opportunity to meet colleagues from other departments.

“It is clear that everyone is incredibly passionate about what they do and is committed to empowering their clients. I look forward to being able to do the same as I settle into my role.”

Lewis Addison, partner and solicitor in Nelsons’ dispute resolution team, said: “We are pleased to welcome Lesley to our team as we continue with our plans to develop the department. We have big ambitions, and I have no doubt that Lesley will play an integral part in those plans, she has already hit the ground running in her first few weeks and I look forward to watching her progress in her role.”
