New Chinese bar and restaurant to launch following property deal

A new restaurant is set to open in Burton after property agent Rushton Hickman brokered a deal to let a 1,863 sq. ft first floor unit at 25/26 Station Street the town centre.
The premises had previously traded successfully for 25 years as the Kwei Ping Chinese Restaurant which closed due to the owner’s retirement.
Taohua will officially open on 1 September as a contemporary Chinese bar and restaurant.
Restauranteur, Alan Ou, said: “Taohua restaurant has a modern elegant design with a centrepiece cherry blossom tree and water features. The name ‘Taohua’ translates literally as ‘cherry blossom’. We have carried out a whole restaurant renovation with our architects designing a classy modern interior including a brand new real marble bar and a comfortable dining area.”
“Along with an extensive range of wines, spirits and cocktails, we also have many specially selected Chinese and Asian alcohols exported directly from Asia, creating a new and unique cocktail experience in Burton for all to try.”
Rushton Hickman commercial property agent, Simon Walker, said: “We are delighted to have agreed terms and recently completed the lease on another commercial property in the Burton town centre. A high quality, up market Chinese Restaurant will certainly be welcomed by the residents of Burton and the surrounding areas, and we wish Taohua and the business owners the very best of success in this new eatery venture.”
