73,000 sq ft warehouse hits the market in Derbyshire

A 73,000 sq ft warehouse has been brought to market in Alfreton after the site’s previous occupant moved its head office to an alternative location nearby.

Agents at Harris Lamb have been instructed to find a new tenant for the premises on Cotes Park Industrial Estate, which is currently being refurbished to include sprinklers, a power supply of 500 kVA and two five-tonne cranes.

The site on Clover Nook Road was previously home to the UK division of global engineering firm Chromalloy, which maintains and repairs gas turbine engines. In May, the company changed its registered address to 3 Bramble Way following seven years at the property.

Matthew Tilt, part of the agency team at Harris Lamb, said: “With the availability of good quality industrial property remaining very low throughout the Midlands, we anticipate high enquiry levels around this opportunity considering the building’s specification and excellent transport links.

“The unit ticks many boxes – a central location with great access links, cranage, sprinklers, good power capacity, two-storey office and ancillary accommodation, and parking for approximately 79 cars, within a secure, gated site on a popular commercial estate.”
