Weekender: Restaurant chain raises steaks with Nottingham launch
A specialist steakhouse restaurant and bar is set to open its doors in Nottingham city centre today (11 November).
Tomahawk Steakhouse, which serves Himalayan salt dry-aged beef and fish dishes, is located in the former Carluccio unit at 12 Low Pavement.
TheBusinessDesk.com exclusively revealed that the brand was opening a Nottingham venue back in May of this year.
Tomahawk is owned by Howard Eggleston. The company started out in Stockton-on-Tees and now operates 16 venues across the north and the Midlands.
Its Nottingham outlet will be open seven days a week and serve breakfast from 9am-11.45am on Saturdays and Sundays.
Thirty jobs have reportedly been created at the restaurant, which claims to offer “the best steaks in Nottingham.”
Carluccio shut its Low Pavement venue in December 2018 after it entered a Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA).
