A Lincolnshire-based creative marketing agency has expanded its team by a third after enjoying “unprecedented” levels of growth in 2022.

Laser Red has seen a surge in demand for its services this year, enabling it to grow its headcount by a third and open a new office in Lincoln.

Ten new colleagues have joined the agency across a range of disciplines, including four front and back-end developers, a project manager, a new designer, a PPC marketing executive and an administrator.

Laser Red also welcomed its first ever head of PR & Comms this autumn, allowing it to establish a new PR arm, and bolstered its finance team with a new accountant.

The additions have enabled the marketing specialist to grow its global client base and expand its offering to a wider range of industries.

Liam O’Leary, managing director at Laser Red, said: “We ended 2021 strongly and wanted to hit the ground running in 2022, which we achieved with some great business wins.

“We saw a huge uplift in enquiries in 2022 and it quickly became clear to me and the management team that we needed to invest in the team to ensure we could sustain our forward momentum.”

Having invested in its team, the agency now says it is looking to expand its business portfolio.

O’Leary said: “We’re a future focused business with ambitious growth plans for the coming years. We pride ourselves on the high-level of service and personal touch we deliver to our clients, so it’s important we have the best team in place to ensure their experience of working with us never falters.

“We’re committed to our clients and to the region, believing that we have some of the finest talent around, and we will continue to invest in that belief.”

The firm recently awarded its employees a £1,200 pay rise to help them deal with the cost-of-living crisis.
