Chic ‘restro-bar’ to open in Burton

A new “restro-bar” is gearing up to open in Burton after local property agency Ruston Hickman let a 1,201 sq ft site on Station Street to its DJ owner.

Isabel’s Restaurant and Bar is owned by Burton-born Nathan Dawe. The high-end establishment – which is named after Dawe’s late grandmother – will open to the public on 22 December, offering cocktails, food and music.

It is already fully booked for December.

Dawe said: “Rushton Hickman went above and beyond right from the beginning. They provided me guidance throughout the letting of the property. The team made the whole process quick and easy by being helpful and available at all times.”

Graham Bancroft, director at Rushton Hickman, said: “The letting of Station Street to Nathan is an extremely exciting transaction for Burton as it brings a new high-end restaurant and bar to the town centre. With the cost of living hitting everybody, people are becoming more picky about where to enjoy their time now and this venue will I’m sure be the place to be within Burton.
