Housebuilders reveal plans for over 320 homes in north Notts

Barratt and David Wilson Homes are set to build 322 properties as part of a new housing development in Sutton-in-Ashfield.

The 33.35-acre site on Beck Lane will be known at The Hawthorns.

Barratt Homes North Midlands has submitted plans to provide 176 of the properties, including 20 affordable homes for rent or shared ownership, including a selection of two-, three- and four-bedroom houses.

Section 106 contributions of more than £1.1m will go towards local primary school education, £174,524 to healthcare, over £156,000 towards the improvements of bus stops, bus services and taster tickets, and an additional £29,000 to highway improvements.
