31 jobs saved as engineering firm sold out of administration

Some 31 jobs have been saved at a Nottinghamshire engineering firm after it was sold of out of administration.

Sutton-On-Ashfield-based Lindhurst manufactures bespoke machines and structural fabricated products for use in the utility, construction and transport sectors.

Ben Jones and Raj Mittal were appointed as joint administrators to Lindhurst Engineering on 5 July following inflationary and cashflow pressures despite a strong order book.

Following their appointment, the joint administrators completed the sale of the business and certain assets to ECS Engineering Services, also based in Sutton-in-Ashfield.
