Pick of the bunch set to take to the stage

Hot Property 2023 is just days away, and with rehearsals at their final stages, we spoke to Pick Everard’s Oliver Hatton about the company’s ongoing support of the event, and what he’s looking forward to seeing on the night.

Pick Everard is a long-time Hot Property sponsor – what makes you return year on year?

There’s been a strong core group of the Pick Everard team attending for the last five years or so, and we’re always blown away by the quality of the performances. The night has become a highlight of the Nottingham social calendar, and it’s great for people to let their hair down a bit.

What benefits does supporting the event bring for you?

For us, it’s three-fold. Firstly, it brings people together in aid of a local charity, which is something that’s close to our hearts. Secondly, it’s a great networking opportunity – we’re able to invite clients along and give them a feel for our team and our culture. And finally, the performances are always so good, why wouldn’t you support it!

For someone that hasn’t been to watch Hot Property before, what can they expect on 2 November?

A great bunch of like-minded professionals pushing themselves out of their comfort zone and getting stuck in! It really reflects well on the collaborative nature of the property and construction sector that you get people from all walks of the industry pulling together to create some really good music and raising lots of funds for a great charity.

Finally, who is the act you look forward to the most?

There’s always some massive surprises on the night, but one thing we always look forward to is Chord Consult’s Harry Stannard – he’s a natural performer and some of his rapping over the last couple of years has been out of this world.

We’ve also got several Pick Everard performers taking part this year in Ryan Hobbs, Magdalena Maskell, Andy Thompson and Dan Williams, so we can’t wait to see what they have in store for us!
