Law firm appoints new partner to commercial litigation team

Law firm Flint Bishop has appointed Jon Jefferies as a partner in its commercial litigation team.

Previously the managing partner and practice head for the commercial litigation team at Freeths’ Derby office, Jefferies brings over 30 years of legal expertise in commercial litigation, employment, and insolvency cases.

His experience spans from advising in director fiduciary duties disputes, SPA disputes, and partnership disputes to shareholder disputes, and property-related cases, including boundary disputes, rights of way disputes, easement disputes, rights of light disputes, and minerals ownership.

Notable achievements include his role in a multi-million-pound shareholder dispute, leading to substantial success for his clients, and representing Ibstock Brick Limited in a landmark case establishing mineral rights.
